Remember when we were younger and we made bracelets to give to our friends? I would take coloured string and tie it to a safety pin (in different colours) and then knot them into a bracelet. My best friend taught me how to do it (and frankly, she was way better at making them than I was!) Or, remember the necklaces that were two pieces saying 'best friends' that broke in half, and each of your wore them? Her and I got those for each other at Christmas in grade 7 if I remember correctly.  I still have it after all these years. More than 25 years later, my best friend and I have grown up - we both have families and jobs and have seen the best and worse of each other over the years, but that doesn't change the fact that we are still best friends. Now how to do we tell the girlfriends in our life how much they mean to us now? We aren't making friendship bracelets anymore but we still want to say 'you're awesome!' every so often. BeautyGram has come up with the perfect solution! Introducing the BFF BeautyGram - A package that is as special as your girlfriend and as fun as those Friday nights used to be. Included is a Cake Milk Maid Duo, Spa Ritual Polish, tea, chocolates, and with a little throw back to our friendship making days, we've added a Kutula Kiss Bracelet. Having a best friend means you know someone has got your back. That’s how I feel about my BFFs. my favorite memories….I could go on. But my most recent was having them stand in my wedding and celebrating with them. :)

I left out the best memories. I love how we can pick up from where we left off, even after a year or two of not seeing each other, then spend have the time fly by as we visit over coffee. A whole afternoon in Tim Horton’s isn’t too long is it?

A best friend is somebody who you can just call up anytime even if it’s been days, months or years, and the conversation is just like you’ve never been apart at all!
A memory that I will share is from our younger years. We were probably 12 or so and we built a cool fort out of slabs of wood in a log cabin style. It took us forever! Then we stocked it with gobstoppers and thrills gum. We were so upset when my friends mom told us that we had to totally dismantle our fort before we were allowed to go to the fair. I suppose it was fairly ugly and my friends mom didn’t want it in her front yard!
Thanks for the contest!~

A best friend is someone with whom to be crazy, then serious. Someone who doesn’t Jump to conclusions when you say something stupid. Someone who sympathizes, but doesn’t let you wallow in self-pity. Someone who cares enough to help you grow.

A best friend is someone so precious that we trust them with our deepest, darkest secrets. We open our lives to them at any time of the day. Our babies call them Aunty/uncle. A best friend is someone who dresses up with you in a silly outfit on the night of your bachelorette party even though everyone else is dressed in fancy dresses. A best friend is someone whom you can have a disagreement with, but still remain friends the next day. A best friend is something so precious that few of us have the privilege to say we have a “best” friend.

Oh to pick just one!
My BFF lives 3 provinces away. Sometimes life gets in the way and we don’t speak for months. Out if the blue we will send a random text about a memory and almost always the other was thinking the same thing. A BFF is someone’s that always in your head knowing that stupid moment you’re thinking of or remembering a hard day or just a I miss you text at just the right moment. Because they know you that well… Better than yourself somedays no matter the distance!

My BFF is my soul sister. We met while walking to school in third grade and as they say “the rest is history”. We have been best friends since that very day and even now, thirty years later, we are still BFFs!! She has helped me through cancer treatments, we have wiped each others tears and have shared many many belly laughs together! Even though she lives in Calgary and I live in Newfoundland, we talk every single day! Her son is the child I never had. We are the definition of BFF’s and I love and Miss her everyday. A BFF beauty gram to her would be the ultimate Thank you for her to express my gratitude to have her in my life! xo

For me having a best friend means always having a soft place to fall no matter what! A person with whom you can share any emotion and not be judged!
Moving from elementary school to junior high school, I was bullied, my best friend, a new student to the school came to my rescue and stood up for me, even though we had not met yet……..a soft place to fall ever since!

To me a best friend is someone you can always count on. Someone who is there for you in your best & worst moments. I love my best friend because she is always there for me when I need to vent, need advice, need to laugh or just need to have some fun! No matter what, I can count on her. She is loving, kind, supportive & my biggest cheerleader!
My best memories are from trips & roadtrips we have done together. They have always been fun, full of laughs, heart-to-hearts and wonderful memories that I cherish :)

Having a best frined is someone that will hold your hair back after too many classes of Zin but will also tell you when your being a douche. Best friends don’t mind when life gets in the way and you can’t talk for a while but will pick up where you left off when you finally get a moment.

A best friend is someone that who is there for you no matter what. Through the best times and the worst. Will listen to you always and never judge. A best friend is someone you may not see for months but when you do see eachother it is as if you never left. After moving away from my friends in Montreal to move to Fort McMurray where I had no friends was the hardest thing in the world, and I miss my girl each and every day. Even though we live across the country from each other, some how we manage to always be there for eachother! My best memory is definitely having the chance to go to college downtown montreal with her each and every day for 3 years. Hopping on the train every morning and each day was a new experience and adventure for us that we will remember for the rest of our lives. And of course our weekly monday night ritual of stuffing our faces with junk food and watching the girls on the hills :)

I’m best friends with my best friend because we had the same Cabbage Patch Kids backpack in second grade. Ever since, if one of us needed someone to be there, the other had someplace to be.

Best friends overlook your flaws…or point them out with the best intentions. Time doesn’t effect best friends; they just pick up where they left off without feeling like something was lost. Now I have to phone my best friend :)

My BFF is the sister I never had or wanted for, we are there for each other to tell it like it is, to support one another when something goes wrong, make the other one laugh when needed or just listen when warranted. We have known each other for 2/3 of our lives and have survived so much together: first loves, last loves, new beginnings, new editions, saying good bye to friends and family too soon, tears, fears, and sooo much laughter. My most fav BFF moment is when I organized a much needed (on her part) Ladies Night Out, the day of I was confirmed pregnant by my doctor. I spent the night apologizing for ruining her fun as we swapped wine glasses for Orange Juice and clubbing for a shopping trip to purchase prenatal vitamins, and she spent the night telling me that my news was exactly what she needed to cheer her up!

Having a best friend means picking up right where you left off as though no time as has passed at all. My BFF and I (and our combined 4 kids) took a cruise over March Break 2 years ago – it was the best time ever!

Having a best friend is having someone to be there for you not only at your best, but also at your worst. It’s having someone who knows exactly what you’re thinking without you having to say a single word and it’s having someone who wants to see you succeed and encourages you to be an even better you. My bestie and I travelled across SE Asia together and had an amazing time. We spent two months together shopping, eating, dancing, drinking, laughing, swimming, and relaxing. Though we don’t see each other everyday, as she now lives in another city, we text all the time and when we get together, the dinners and dancing last into the wee hours. She is the best bestie a girl could have!!

A best friend will laugh with you, cry with you and for you, help you when you are down, be that ear for you to air all your grievances, or tell that silly joke with you and laugh until tears run down your face. A best friend is there for the good times and bad times. I am lucky to have a few special ladies in my life who are there for me through thick and thin, but I have one friend for the last 20 years who has been with me for many ups and downs. Even though I don’t get to see her often, she is always there for me when I need her. Most recently I was having some complications, and needed to go into the hospital. She didn’t hesitate to take a sick day from work so she could come and watch my children. Not only did she watch my kids, but cleaned my house and did my laundry so I wouldn’t have to worry about it. I am so thankful and blessed for her to be in my life! We do take care of each other, and she is the sister I never had!

My Best Friend and I have been inseparable for over a decade. Being BFF’s means that we understand each other and can relate to each other effortlessly. Over the years we have done so many amazing things together and she’s always the first person I want to call and ask to do something new with.

Once on Pinterest I read a quotation about how sometimes life is so hard you need someone else to be with you and sometimes life is so good, you need someone else to share it with you. To me, this describes what it means to have a best friend.
A wonderful best friend moment for me is when she was giving a speech at my wedding. She stopped talking suddenly and it took me a few moments to realize she was crying and couldn’t continue. I knew we were close, but I hadn’t expected such an emotional response from her during her speech. She is so strong. I went up to her and gave her a hug, and we continued her speech together. We live so far apart from each other now, but I will always cherish the times when we were inseparable.

What is means to have a best friend is to have someone to watch crappy movies with, someone to share bottles of wine with, to have a personal therapist and hugger at hand whenever you need one! A best friend is always there for you, and you for them. It’s someone who you can be completely 100% yourself around & who loves you despite everything or anything.
My favourite best friend moment is from when my bestie asked me to be in her wedding party. I’m usually the joking one and tried to make us both laugh but we both ending up crying…then laughing at how emotional we can be!

To me, my best friend is more like a sister. Best friends are even better then family because you choose them! My best friend and I have been friends for 22 years. Last year we went to Mexico for a girls weekend to celebrate my 30th birthday. It was the first time we ever travelled together and it was so amazing. I m so grateful to have such an amazing BFF and I know she would love to receive this beauty gram. She’s such a great friend, she would most likely share it with me! <3

BEST-FRIENDS FOREVER! What does it mean to have a best friend? Well… Some people believe having a best friend is like having a sister but for me- my best friend is MY Sister. If you ever had a dream, watched your favourite movie or saw the most beautiful sunset and it made you laugh , cry and believe there’s more to this world that’s what it is like to have a best friend. My sister, my best friend, has been with me for 24 and half years, through it all!! When we were younger I had a rare and difficult heart condition my younger sister grew up so much and helped our parents care for me. When I got a little older and a little stronger I was able to apply for my drivers license at 18 years old, that very next day the two of us hit the town we spent the entire day driving around with the windows rolled down we picked up our favourite coffee (white chocolate frappes), grabbed pizza and donuts and cruised our small town. We laughed, felt free, and enjoyed our first taste of adulthood together that day. She’s been my co-pilot ever since !! From my wedding day, our first girls trip to Australia and even the birth of my daughter… Having a best friend is like bread and butter we need each other!!

Fantastic Contest! What a tough topic to be brief on! 
What does it mean to have a best friend? Well, there are all the obvious traits, such as trust, honestly, etc. However, one that sticks out in my mind is “no judgement”. I am lucky to have more than one bestie, and some of them go back my entire life, and some are more recent connections – the ladies you meet and just hold onto, because they are awesome!
What separates a bestie from the rest, is the ability to be transparent, because you know that you won’t be judged. And vice versa, they tell you things or reach out for help on things, because they KNOW they can, and that they are safe with you.
I have seen my besties through all kinds of life’s trials and tribulations, and they have scraped me off the floor through some of mine. Thankfully those pieces are a small part of a very big picture full of fun, frolic, laughs and ongoing support.
